Julia's committment and dedication to Dance Etc. as a student extends seamlessly into her position as a faculty member. Julia was a member of our most advanced award-winning tap team and her fun, loyalty, and dedication shine through as a dance educator.

 

Julia started dancing at 2 years old and joined the Dance Etc. dance team in 2008 where she competed and trained until she graduated high school. Upon graduation, she studied Dance and Fine Arts at The University of Arts in Philadelphia. Julia had the pleasure of training and performing under the direction of Donna Faye Burchfield, Michael Sheridan, Donald Lunsford, and many others.

 

Julia moved to Los Angeles and began training at Millennium Dance Complex. She completed MDC's Commercial Dance Certification and proceeded to work for Millennium's CEO Ann Marie Hudson. Julia continued teaching and training in Los Angeles for 4 more years mentoring under Dres Reid and performing in music videos before moving back to Connecticut.

 

She now loves teaching and sharing her passion for art and dance at Dance Etc. along with taking classes at Western Connecticut State University.
