Debra MacDonald

Debra MacDonald - Ballet, Pointe - Debra is a performing arts professional with extensive teaching experience in ballet, pre-school and musical theatre, including direction and choreography. Her background includes training and performances with the American Ballet Company, Stamford City Ballet, Boston Ballet, Crystal Opera Ballet, Pine Manor Dance and Joanne de Bergh School of Ballet. She has taught at the Connecticut Dance Theatre, East Coast Youth Ballet, New Dance Theatre and the Boston Ballet City Dance Program. Debra is currently on faculty at the Ballet School in Stamford as well. Debra's background also includes 5 years as the head teacher at the Child Care of Stamford, founder and director of The Actor's Project and Stage Door and instructor at the French Woods Performing Arts Camp. She has earned degrees from both Pine Manor College and Norwalk Community College and has served as director and choreographer for numerous theatre productions throughout Connecticut and New York.

Dance Etc. has a staff of highly qualified local and New York City professionals with credits ranging from ABT to Broadway.
